Stephen Lauder is the Founder and Principal Advisor of Laudable Advisory, bringing nearly four decades of hands-on business ownership, leadership and investment experience to his work with Australian business owners and CEOs.

Since 1987, Stephen has operated and led his own businesses across multiple industries, developing deep expertise in company leadership, financial discipline, investment and strategic direction. He founded and grew AHS Services into Australia’s largest hospitality outsourcing company, employing more than 5,000 people nationally, before leading its management buyout, private equity partnership and ultimate trade sale to an ASX-listed group.

He has extensive experience leading, advising and mentoring management teams to strengthen performance, accountability and decision-making, and has served as Executive Chairman, Board Member and investor across private companies, statutory authorities and large-scale property and investment vehicles — including founding Pacific Hotel Group, now managing over $200 million in accommodation assets.

Stephen is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (FAICD), a long-standing member of YPO, former Deputy Chairman of the Rottnest Island Authority, and a past Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year (WA).

His advisory approach is shaped by lived experience and sound judgement, with a practical understanding of the responsibilities, pressures and high-consequence decisions faced by business owners and CEOs leading complex organisations.
